Participation at the Meeting of the representatives of business and scientific and research community in Kragujevac, Serbia
Meeting of the representatives of business and scientific and research community was organized on June 23, 2015 by the Regional Chamber of Commerce Kragujevac. Prof. Dr. Vesna Mandic was invited to present the activities of the Business Support Office as the example of good practice in the area of inter-sectoral cooperation. Prof. Mandic also informed the present audience on the WBCInno project and its main objectives. -
WBCInno project promoted within the seminar „Industrial property supports innovations and business in the competitive world“
On Thursday, 26 February 2015, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EC jointly organized seminar titled „Industrial property supports innovation and business in the competitive world“ within the IPA Project „Capacity Building of the Institute for Intellectual property through the Establishment of Information-Educational Centres of the Institute“. -
WBCInno project presented at 4th International conference ,,Jahorina Business Days - JPD 2015‚‚
At the session “Entrepreneurship” was presented our work on development of scientific-technology parks as an important step in transforming a university from teaching one into an entrepreneurial. This paper was used to promote Tempus project WBCInno, and it pointed out that launching WBCInnoproject within the university environment was considered to be "the light at the end of a tunnel". -
Danube business forum
The Third Danube Business Forum (27 – 29/10/2014) is designed so that in three days for the envisaged three plenary sessions and 6 panels bring together participants from the fields of economy, science, culture, politics and diplomacy, which are naturally connected along the Danube, with significant support from local and foreign media to make it possible to promote the region as an attractive place for investment. -
ETF Workshop „Torino Process 2014 in Bosnia and Herzegovina“

Researchers and students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad visited the Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac
On 12th June 2014, students and researchers of the Faculty of Technical Sciences Novi Sad visited the Faculty of Engineering and companies “FAS” and “Zastava Oruzje” in Kragujevac. During their visit to the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Vesna Mandic presented the activities of CEVIP and CTC centres, as well as the results achieved on the WBCInno project. -
WBCInno presented at 9th International Conference on the Occurrence, Properties, and Utilization of Natural Zeolites
9th International Conference on the Occurrence, Properties and Utilization of Natural Zeolites (http://www.ktf-split.hr/zeolite2014/) was held on 8th June 2014 in Belgrade, where researchers from more than 30 countries from all over the world participated. On the second day of the conference, Prof. Dr. Vesna Mandic presented the results of WBCInno project achieved in the region. -
Promotion of WBCInno project on the Info day within ADRIATinn project
Within the info day of the ADRIATInn project held on 6th June 2014, the latest achievement of WBCInno project were presented. Among them were publications Knowledge and Technology Transfer Between Science and Businesses: Academic KTT Offices` Experience And Good Practise, Western Balkans Regional University Innovation Platform, Strategic Development Plan for Business Incubators and Science and Technology Parks in Western Balkan Region, Methodology for Innovation Management as well as five Catalogues on Research and Innovation Potential of five WBC Universities (Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Montenegro, Zenica and Banja Luka). -
Students’ visits to BITF are organized
Visits to BITF were organized for students of Faculty of Organizational Science, ICT College of Vocational Studies, departments of Internet technologies and Postal and Banking Technologies, on three separate occations. Students had the opportunity to meet with the BITF business operating and enhance their knowledge and activities. -

The WBCInno project Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Vesna Mandic participated in the Conference “Capitalization of knowledge – profit through research”, held in April 2014, in Belgrade, Serbia. -
BITF participated in the knowledge economy workshop organized by Serbian innovation fund
The Serbian Innovation Fund organized Knowledge Economy Workshop on December 11, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade. The workshop aimed at presenting good international experiences in supporting innovations and considering of the key issues in terms of investment in research and development of the Republic of Serbia and fostering economic growth, based on knowledge. -
Round table on youth entrepreneurship in Serbia held within jobfair 2013
BITF participated the Round Table on Youth Entrepreneurship in Serbia held within JobFair 2013 that was held on November 5, 2013 at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. JobFair is organized annually since 2004 by students volunteers of technical faculties of University of Belgrade, with a vision - reducing unemployment among young people, providing the highest quality staff to employers and to establish better communication between the education system, companies operating in the country and students. -
Providing an opportunity for projects related to the Western Balkan Region
The WBCInno project team was invited to take part in the final conference of WBC-INCO.NET “Towards 2020: New Horizons for RTD and Innovation in the Western Balkan Region” that will be held on 27th and 28th March 2014 in Vienna. -
