Capacity building training held at University of Banja Luka
The two-day workshop for strengthening the capacities of researchers in the areas of knowledge transfer, research and innovation was organized at the University of Banja Luka (UBL) on 7th and 8th of November 2014. The participants were welcomed by Msc Biljana Vojvodic, assistant to the Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr Milan Mataruga, vice - rector for scientific and research work, Slobodan Dragicevic, secretary of Association for ICT of the Republic of Srpska Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Dr Vesna Mandic, WBCInno project coordinator and Drago Gveric, director of the Innovation Centre Banja Luka.
Capacity building training held at University of Montenegro
The WBCInno team from the University of Montenegro organized the CBT: "Strengthening Capacities of Sciene Technological Parks, Business Incubators, and Other Organizations to Support Innovation and Knowledge Transfer Between Comerce and Industry and Universities in Montenegro". CBT targeted teachers, researchers and students from the universies from Montenegro, but also commercial enterprises and institutions engaged in innovation and knowledge transfer. Duration of the workshop was two days.
Training for business incubator representatives held in BITF Belgrade
Within the preparation of local Competitions for best student ideas, Business Incubator Novi Sad and Business Incubator of Technical Faculties Belgrade organized two-day training for trainers and Competition organizers in Belgrade on 27th and 28th January 2015.
First capacity building training of STP/BI in Belgrade
On September 9th and 10th 2014, the two-day training event on development of business incubators and science and technology parks in the Western Balkan Region was organized in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. The participants were representatives of business incubators from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac as well as other institutions that support the innovations and knowledge transfer.
Study visit to Graz University of Technology
The representatives of universities and business incubators from WBC region visited the Graz University of Technology on 4th June 2013 within the Capacity Building Training activity. During the training, they had an opportunity to meet the representatives of Life Long Learning unit, TU Graz R&T House and Science Park Graz who presented their activities as examples of EU good practices in the area of knowledge and technology transfer.
