Event on development of business incubators and science and technology parks
On September 9th and 10th 2014, the two-day training event on development of business incubators and science and technology parks in the Western Balkan Region was organized in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. The participants were representatives of business incubators from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac as well as other institutions that support the innovations and knowledge transfer. The main focus of the event was presentation of strategic measures recommended within the Strategic Plan for Development of Business Incubators and Science and Technology Parks in the Western Balkan Region, developed within the WBCInno project. In the scope of this, the participants had a chance to learn more on relevant topics such as financing, creative thinking, IPR protection, trends in development of business incubators and science and technology parks, etc.
Generous support to this initiative was given by the Vice-President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Mr. Mihailo Vesovic, Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Science and Technological Development Viktor Nedic, the President of the National Council for Science and Technological Development Prof. Dr. Vera Dondur and the Director of the Centre for Promotion of Science Aleksandra Drecun.
