Training on Intellectual Property Rights

The Business Support Office of the University of Kragujevac in cooperation with the Serbian Intellectual Property Office organized the training for Intellectual Property Rights management on June 16, 2015. The training topic was protection of intellectual property rights and searching the patent base as the source of new ideas. The participants on the training were professors, researchers and students participating in the Competition. They were introduced with the different types of IPR, the procedures for its protection and recommendations for its exploitation. After these, participants were trained on how to search patent base Espacenet in order to examine the novelty of an idea, product or technical solutions, as well as state-of-the-art in specific areas. This session was organized as practical work with many examples covering the different search criteria.
