Local final of the competition for best student idea held at the University of Banja Luka

The local final of the competition for best student idea was held on July 17, 2015 at the University Entrepreneurship Center of the University of Banja Luka. The finalists were three teams from the University of Banja Luka – SPONA, STATEL and SEGRA. They presented their business ideas in the form of ten-minute pitch presentations. After the short interview, the members of the Selection Committee scored the presented ideas and selected two best teams.
The business plans and ten-minute pitch presentations were assessed by the Selection Committee: Prof. Dr Petar Marić, Chairperson (Faculty of Electrical Engineering Banja Luka, WBCInno coordinator at the University of Banja Luka); Prof. Dr Tatjana Pešić-BrÄ‘anin, member (Faculty of Electrical Engineering Banja Luka); Dijana Vuković, member (Faculty of Electrical Engineering Banja Luka); Vladimir Ćorda, member (Innovation center Banja Luka); and Milena Ljubičić, member (University Entrepreneurship Center of the University of Banja Luka).
The title of the winner of the local final of the competition for best student ideas at the University of Banja Luka went to the team SPONA with the idea “Portal for promotion of craft-workshops”.
The second place belongs to the team SEGRA with the idea “Service for assistance in administrative and business duties”.
The winning teams received valuable prizes. They won the trip to one of the partner universities from the EU.
As winners of the local final competition, the first two teams will represent the University of Banja Luka at the Regional final competition which will be organized in September in the Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade.
